The Giving Tree Lens

The following project tackled the concept of augmented reality and user feedback through the construction of a Snapchat lens. Using existing content, including assets from Tinkercad and the now obsolete Google Poly, I chose to examine the narrative of a personal favorite from Shel Silverstein's, "The Giving Tree", to construct an interactive visual using metaphors from the book. Through a whole five-week process, the lens developed from a mere sketch to a responsive filter complete with movable 3D and 2D assets and active audio.
